I'm a 28 year old white girl...well woman I guess, but I don't sure don't feel 28! I've been jammin UGK hard and heavy since 1998 when I was blessed with hearing the hauntingly beautiful and poetic "One Day". That started my unswerving love and loyalty to UGK. I'm from Tyler, TX and man it felt good to hear lyrical poets flow about how it is in tha Lonestar State. It just goes to show that music really is the Universal Language. It helps to know that hustlin' and s*** sometimes just has to happen, but one can always rise above in order to improve one's life and then give back to the youngsters out there. Especially if those youngsters are jammin' that s*** that just repeats itself 49 times without any thought behind what their saying...if it ain't got a story, then it's cool, just focus on the beat. Save us all a favor and hush. But I get so much satisfaction when I get to share my UGK library, Too Short, Tupac (RIP), OLD Kid Rock - like Polyfuze method, that new crap gets on my nerves sometimes, and we may as well throw in some Devin the Dude!

you've really become a great inspiration to me and I've took up songwriting because of you and that is now my dream. All I want to say is thankyou. I was finally about to go pick it up a couple of days ago, and can't stop listening to it and I can't stop reading the lyrics.
